Disadvantage of removable orthodontic devices
The disadvantage of removable devices is that only certain tooth movements can carry out with them, thus they can’t work as effectively as the fixed orthodontic removable devices, therefore after the removable devices’ treatment the fixed devices’ treatment is necessary to achieve the perfect result, the removable device’s treatment can be considered as a pretreatment. The removable orthodontic devices are usually up to 1-1.5 years function able, after due to the tooth change usually should be replaced, or if the permanent tooth top and bottom from 6 to 6 are in the mouth, may start the fixed devices’ treatment.

During cleaning the appliance at least once a day with toothbrush and tooth paste (in the hand!) have to wash it thoroughly (if required, can be several times), and should be clean at least once a week for removable orthodontic appliance or for prosthesis available with effervescent tablets solution, in which should be put in for a couple of hours the appliance(s) (one glass of water, one tablet put into and left it in for a few hours). During eating or drinking the appliance should be removed from the mouth (water you can drink with it).After eating every time must wash the teeth and then may put it back into the mouth. In that case if any problem occurs with the wearing of the appliance (breaks, traces, punctures, cuts, can’t apply it, specifically hurts one tooth, etc.), contact your doctor immediately! Otherwise, the teeth and the bite back movement may occur, and in the case of serious tooth back movement new aligners should be made!
In that case if in the mixed dentition the tooth’s change happens sooner than expected, the existing devise’s change may be necessary.
Control an arch changes during the orthodontic treatment
During the treatment the so called activations (control, arch changes, etc.) happens 2 monthly in the first 8-10 month of the treatment, after this monthly.
