In the Lake Pécs peaceful and predator fish species can be found also. The lake is shallow, with an average depth of 1.9 meter.
Around the beach you can find many types of fish, this area is prohibited for anglers until mid-June. The fish settling happens from April monthly. Regular fish species: carp, crucian carp, perch, grass carp, pike, trout (in small amounts). The lake is characterized by carp-centric, and the boilie fishing has become increasingly popular.
