The crown and the fixed partial denture are made in a series of sessions. For the first time the preparation of the tooth begins (which can be with traditional tangential or modern shoulder preparation), and the silicone impression.
After a possible probe, in the next session the dentist bonds the crown or the fixed partial denture.
