In the case of tangential the tooth was abrade in a straight line in which case the border seal of the crown there is a stair. In these areas the plaque adheres easily, hard to clean it, easier under decaying the tooth. By the modern shoulder preparation we make a small shoulder around the tooth on which the crown fits very precise, thus it doesn’t desist. Such retention is minimal where the plaque can adhere. Easier to clean, the crown’s or the fixed partial denture’s lifetime is longer.
The correct color selection is the determinant factor to achieve the most optimal, similar to the natural restoration. Thus the color and form are a very decisive factor of the designing.
